So this is what I've learned as a copy writer so far. Please notice that I'm not an ordinary copy writer because here, the copy writer has a different job description. I don't pitch. I don't even brainstorm with my creative director. I re-write what's they've written on the job request. I just fix the lines or find the alternatives. Most of those words and lines are not mine. I just re-write, or translate. I'm a copy writer with zero idea. Ideas are prohibited. The only same task is proofreading, and yeah proofreading sucks.
I also don't get any credit for each word or line I write. Oh, why should I? I don't do anything. As I told you before, I just re-write, translate, and proofread. Nobody needs credit for that, nobody but me. And if I make mistake, whether it's only a missing letter or missing word or missing line, I get the hell of the punishment. Everyone will notice the infelicity and I am the only one to blame.
My job requires perfection. Mistakes are not allowed and excellence performance get no credit.
There's no such thing as creativity here.
Cool, huh?
*hugs
